We have submitted the Leading Learning @ RevUP pre-event for CAE approval (4 CAE hours) so that your participation in the Leading Learning @ RevUP pre-event may be used in support of an initial CAE application or a CAE renewal.

What are PAR and the RevUP Summit?

PAR is a membership community that supports and connects association teams to the opportunities, strategies, and techniques that lead to better business outcomes for associations.

The RevUP Summit is for association pros who want to improve their association’s bottom line, from C suite to strategic operations to account reps in the field. Tagoras, the parent company of Leading Learning, has been involved with RevUP since the beginning, In 2024, we introduced a special pre-event for learning business professionals who are focused on revenue generation: Leading Learning @ RevUP.

How are PAR and Leading Learning collaborating?

There are two components to Leading Learning @ RevUP.

• First, Leading Learning is holding a half-day Leading Learning @ RevUP pre-event on November 4 for learning and conversation designed specifically for learning business leaders at associations.
• Second, Leading Learning @ RevUP pre-event attendees have the opportunity to register for the RevUP Summit on November 4-6. We’re working with PAR to shape and facilitate the RevUP agenda to ensure high relevance for association learning business professionals.

Who should participate?

Leading Learning @ RevUP is intended for association professionals who have substantial responsibility for revenue generation from their educational events and programming. In our experience, this tends to be people in CLO, VP, and/or director positions for education and events and may also include membership, marketing, and business development executives. We do also encourage people in these roles to bring key members of their teams. Here’s what attendees said about 2024.

What is a learning business?

A learning business markets and sells continuing education, professional development, and/or lifelong learning to adults. Learning businesses include trade and professional associations, training firms, academic continuing education divisions, and others serving the market for adult lifelong learning. In the case of Leading Learning @ RevUP, our focus is specifically on association-based learning businesses.

When and where does Leading Learning @ RevUP take place?

Both the pre-event and the main RevUP Summit are happening in Annapolis, MD, at the Graduate Hotel. The pre-event will take place on November 4 from 11:00 to 4:00 ET (end time subject to adjustment). There will be other pre-event workshops that day and the main RevUP Summit will take place November 5-6. There is a room block at the Graduate Hotel.

What’s the agenda for the Leading Learning @ RevUP pre-event?

We’ll continue firming up the details over the coming month or two, but here’s some of what we plan to cover:

• Welcome, opening comments on the current learning business landscape, and lunch
• “Capitalizing on Career-Long Learning Value,” peer panel and facilitated discussion
• “Connecting Learning and Member Engagement,” peer panel and facilitated discussion
• Research Update: The CEO Revenue Perspective and Annual Report Highlights (Jeff Cobb and Celisa Steele)
• Reception with RevUP attendees

Keep in mind that, while there will be presentations of case studies and other information, this is a discussion-driven event. Be prepared to participate, share, and learn a ton with your peers!

How much does the Leading Learning @ RevUP pre-event cost?

The regular registration rate is $495. (The early registration rate was $395, available through August 1.)

Will you record Leading Learning @ RevUP?

We do not currently plan to record any of the Leading Learning @ RevUP pre-event.

What are the registration options?

You may choose to attend just the Leading Learning @ RevUP pre-event on November 4, just the full RevUP Summit, or both.

What if I attend and don’t find it valuable?

We believe the Leading Learning @ RevUP pre-event will be valuable for attendees, and we’re offering a money-back guarantee. If you attend the Leading Learning @ RevUP pre-event and don’t feel you get good value for the investment, simply send us an e-mail saying you want a refund, and we’ll give you one. We may ask you to tell us why—we like to learn and improve, after all—but you won’t get an argument.
